In this research, we draw on an example of 1,923 lesbians on Match to quantitatively test whether you can find racial variations in dating choices for females with kids, underscoring implications for household inequality through racial variations in who’s kiddies when searching for a partner. We find that Blacks, Latinas, and Asians are far more most most most likely than Whites never to just have kids but be open to also dating other ladies with kids. This implies that competition differentially structures lesbians’ openness to lovers with kiddies, and such choices can be a feasible apparatus for racial stratification.
